FC EXPO 2025: Final Day

Carbon Neutrality

Today is the final day of FC EXPO, and many people visited Tokyo Big Sight. We thank to everyone's support and visiting  the Toyota Group booth.

This year's EXPO gave us valuable opportunities to understand the current state of hydrogen utilization in Japan.

Discussions touched on a variety of topics, including the challenges of bridging the gap between hydrogen supply and demand, as well as between desired price  and actual costs. Other key themes included the primary applications of hydrogen, such as long-distance trucks, and the grand design for hydrogen-promoting regions. Compared to the last year, it felt like these discussions have become much more specific.

The big challenge of transitioning from fossil fuels—which have been used in Japan for over 150 years—to carbon-neutral fuels is a fantastic and rewarding job that will shape the future.

We anticipate that Japan will take further steps toward carbon neutrality and look forward to reconnecting with everyone once again next year at Tokyo Big Sight.
