Fuel Cell Generators Supporting Future Construction Sites: CSPI-EXPO 2025

FC Module

From June 18 (Wednesday) to June 21 (Saturday), 2025, the 7th International Construction & Surveying Expo, "CSPI-EXPO 2025," was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

I had the opportunity to attend this event, which showcases cutting-edge technologies essential to construction sites, including construction machinery, heavy equipment, and generators, offering an excellent glimpse into the industry's latest trends.

During the expo, I visited the booth of Denyo Co., Ltd., where they exhibited their fuel cell generator, "FCTP-7000," which incorporates our "8kW FC Module."

This portable generator stands out with its compact design and user-friendly operation, facilitated by a simple touchscreen LCD panel.

One unique feature of the "FCTP-7000" is its ability to repurpose the water produced during the fuel cell process. The excess water can be used to power mist coolers or serve as a water source in evacuation shelters, making it a practical and resourceful innovation.

Additionally, the Denyo booth displayed a prototype hydrogen-engine generator, highlighting the company's proactive efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality.

It was evident that the hydrogen technologies on display captured significant interest from attendees, underscoring the vital role hydrogen can play in promoting carbon neutrality in construction operations.

The event left me with a strong impression of how hydrogen and fuel cell technologies are poised to transform the construction industry and make meaningful contributions to sustainable development.
